<p>PURPOSE:To hit a target in the shortest distance and in the shortest time and to destruct the target without fail by detecting the target and a second missile by a first missile and by guiding thereby the second missile to the optimum position for hitting. CONSTITUTION:A first missile 9 takes a track at an altitude whereat a target 18 and a second missile 1 are easy to detect, while the second missile 1 takes horizontal tracks 19 and 20 whereat a target is hard to detect, and thereby the first missile 9 judges a course ensuring a hit on the target 18 for the second missile 1. This is transmitted to the second missile 1 as the data for its guidance, and the second missile 1 hits the target 18 in the shortest distance and in the shortest time on the basis of the data for guidance of the second missile 1 transmitted from the first missile 9 and destructs the target 18 without fail. Thereby the probability of functional impossibility or sinking of the target 18 can be improved.</p> |
