PURPOSE:To form a bright image without accumulating soiling in an electrifying device by adapting a control means with fuzzy inference in a cleaning means of the electrifying device. CONSTITUTION:The latent image potential on a photosensitive drum is measured by surface potential sensors 2 as an original density detection means. Signals of state quantum obtain from each sensors 2 are fed to CPU 24 which is the inference means and utilized to carry out fuzzy inference after each sensors 2 are fed to CPU 24 which is the inference means and utilized to carry out fuzzy inference after being converted form analogous signal to digital signal by an A/D converter 27. The signal of inference value of cleaning frequency which is the controlled variable is outputted from the CPU 24 which doubles as the control means, is converted from the analogous signal to the digital signal by a D/A convertor 23, and is fed to a signal generation circuit 18. A drive signal of a motor outputted from the signal generation circuit 18 are fed to each motors M1, M2, M3, M4 through motor drive power sources 15, 16, 17, and 22, and control of the cleaning action is carried out by this. |
