PURPOSE:To provide the toner which can form color images of high image quality free from offsetting and image blurring by including the ink, which is prepd. by dispersing the coloring particles coated with a partially soluble resin into a dispersion medium, into a shell made of a synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:The toner is constituted of the ink 5 and the shell 6. The ink 5 is constituted of the dispersion medium 2 and the coloring particles 4. The coloring particle 4 is constituted of a nucleus 1 and a film 3. The nucleus 1 is the coloring agent simple substance of an inorg. pigment, such as titanium white, iron black or carbon black, which is insoluble in the dispersion medium or an org. pigment and dye, such as phthalocyanine, or the particle formed by coating the coloring agent with the resin insoluble in the dispersion medium or the particle formed by dispersing or dissolving the coloring agent in the resin insoluble in the dispersion medium. Acetone, methanol, ethanol, methyl ethyl ketone, etc., are usable as the dispersion medium 2. The film 3 of the shell 1 is the resin which dissolves at least partly in the dispersion medium 2. |
