PURPOSE:To form not only a flocking treatment layer to the groove bottom part of a glass slide region but also a urethane lubricating layer to a slide lip part with good productivity by a method wherein a glass run main body is extruded so as to provide a primer layer composed of specific blend rubber or the rubber compound thereof to the glass slide region thereof and solventless type urethane paint is applied to the respective primer layers of the groove bottom part and both slide lip parts and flocking is applied to the groove bottom part to cure the whole in a vulcanizing process. CONSTITUTION:A glass run main body 1 is extruded while a primer layer composed of blend rubber consisting of nitrile rubber 40-80wt.%, ethylene/propylene/diene ternary rubber 20-60wt.% and styrene/butadiene rubber 0-35wt.% or the rubber compound thereof is provided to the glass slide region S of the glass run main body 1 and solventless type urethane paint for a flocking treatment layer and a lubricating layer is applied to the respective primer layers of a groove bottom part 1a and both slide lip parts 2b immediately after extrusion to form respective urethane films and, continu ously, flocking is further applied to the groove bottom part and, in the vulcanizing process of the glass run main body, the solventless type urethane paint is cured to form a urethane lubricating layer 3b and a flocking treatment layer 3A. |
