The present invention relates to a package of generally parallelepipedal shape made from at least one laminated band (2, 102) shaped as a tube with overlapping longitudinal edges sealed to each other. According to the invention, the internal layer (3, 103), made of thermoplastic material, of a band (2, 102) comprises on the side of the longitudinal edge of the latter, located inside the package, a protective strip (8, 108) which is folded back towards the outside and adheres to an adjacent marginal zone (10a, 110a) of the band, while the other edge (2b, 102b) called the outside of the band (2, 102) covers, with its inside layer, at least a part of the folded-back strip (8, 108), and is thermally sealed onto the outside face of the inside edge (2a, 102a) by means of the folded-back strip (8, 108) and of the internal thermoplastic layer of the outside edge (2b, 102b). <IMAGE> |
