PURPOSE:To expand the range of electronic sound generation by optionally setting a nonlinear table for determining musical sound characteristics and performing input to the nonlinear table by drawing a graph not by a calculation expression, but over a look at a display screen. CONSTITUTION:A sound source 14 processes musical sound control data according to the nonlinear table 12 to generate an electronic sound and an optional position can be specified through a coordinate input means 10. A coordinate display means 11 displays the position of input coordinates and a table generating means 13 generates the nonlinear table 12 according to the specified coordinates. Thus, an operator inputs an optional coordinate position through the coordinate input means 10 over a look at the screen of the coordinate display means 11 and a table 12 of a nonlinear function graph is generated according to the input data. An electronic sound is generated according to the nonlinear table 12 which is set newly. Consequently, the range of electronic sound generation can be expanded. |
