PURPOSE:To suppress generation of a curl at the time of manufacture and processing of the title sheet and to improve the dimensional stability for a temperature change by providing both sides of a base paper with styrene.butadiene latex layers with a gel content being within a specific range and by providing a magnetic recording layer on one side and a thermal recording layer on the other side. CONSTITUTION:When both sides of a base paper are provided with styrene.butadiene latex layers with 5-65% gel content and one side and the other side of the base paper are respectively provided with a magnetic recording layer and a thermal recording layer, it is possible to decrease troubles such as dry wrinkles in a manufacturing process and the roughness in a coated surface and troubles in a curl dimensional stability. As an apparatus used for application of the styrene.butadiene latex layers, magnetic recording layer, thermal recording layer and protective layer, air knife coater, blade coater, etc., are used and a size press apparatus and a gate roll apparatus are also used especially in the case of styrene-butadiene latex layer. Further, a printing method such as offset printing and silk screen process is also used in this case. For example, a solid 5g/m<2> (per one side) styrene.butadiene latex with 28% gel content is applied to both sides of the base paper with 160g/m<2> basis weight and dried thereafter. |
