Missile with target detector

The target detector is a combined laser transmitter-receiver system. The laser (16) and the laser light detector (18) are arranged in a fixed location on the middle (1). A first deflection mirror (110) arranged on a holder (11) has a second associated mirrors (111) also on the holder, which may be deployed out in-front of the missile. In this deployed position plate second mirror serves to deflect the radation from the laser. The first mirrors may be arranged rotatably on the holder. The laser may be pulsed and the transceiver system used as a range finder.
