379,282. Wheel hubs. OWEN, A. G. B. and DOWNS, R. W., Victoria, Ironworks, Darlaston, Staffordshire. May 23, 1931, No. 15258. [Class 144 (i).] In a wheel hub of the kind described in Specification 358,930, the disc D at the outer end of the hub is secured between a flange B and a swagedin portion of the hub shell A. The disc D, which may have apertures c for access to the attachment-nuts a, may be assembled as shown in Fig. 3 before the swaging operation ; or, as indicated by the dotted lines f, Fig. 2, the disc may be assembled into the swaged hub before forming the flange B.
