PURPOSE:To allow the high degree treatment of a waste photographic soln. by circulating the waste soln. through an aeration tank where activated sludge is suspended and an ultrafiltration tank to treat the soln., blowing ozone to the soln., and further, circulating the soln. through the aeration tank, where the activated sludge is suspended, and the ultrafiltration tank to treat the soln., then taking out the filtrate. CONSTITUTION:The waste photographic soln. is circulated through the aeration tank 2, where the activated sludge is suspended, and the ultrafiltration tank 7 and is thereby treated. The soln. is run in the ultrafiltration tank 7 in such a manner that the film plane and the flow of the liquid are to be in parallel. The filtrate is taken out and the ozone is blown to the filtrate to oxidize the filtrate; further, the filtrate is circulated through the aeration tank 2, where the activated sludge is suspended, and the ultrafiltration tank 7 and is thereby treated. The filtrate is run in the ultrafiltration tank 7 in such a manner that the film plane and the flow of the liquid are to be in parallel. This filtrate is then taken out. The waste soln. is treated by the activated sludge treatment in the 1st stage and 2nd stage of the treating stages according to this method. The ozone treatment is interposed in the intermediate 2nd stage to cleave and decompose arom. compds. The COD, BOD, total phosphorus content and total nitrogen content are approximately completely decomposed away. |
