Large roll bearings includes a rectangular runner wire between the inner and outer bearing rings whose thickness corresponds to the width of radial roller. The wire has runner paths on which the surrounding rollers can move. Specifically the wire may be divided into one or more sections to compensate for heat stresses arising. The wire is arranged in recesses in the rings (1,2) and connected to the ring (2) as a cog wheel and/or guide surface. The outer surfaces of the rollers press against semi-circular runner wires (4) fitted into recesses of the inner ring. These flexible wires prevent high edge stresses building up between roll body and runner wire.
