Telephone subscriber appts. with loudspeaking facility - uses external loudspeaker and receiver connected to subscriber socket

The subscriber appts. has an amplifier and an associated loudspeaker contained within a single housing. The amplifier input is connected in parallel with the telephone handset receiver capsule. A connection lead (AL) for the telephone handset (F) has two additional wires adjacent the speech wires coupled to the receiver capsule terminals, with the associated socket (AD) connected via a terminal line (LL) to an external receiver (L). ADVANTAGE - Allows loudspeaker to be placed at freely selected point in room, thus avoiding acoustic feedback problems.
