PURPOSE: To manufacture a homogenous lead-acid battery terminal free from burr, by extruding the lead alloy billet by a cold forming machine, then extruding the same to an automatic infeed material feeder, and sending the same to a computer control machining center. CONSTITUTION: The lead billet 36 infed to a cold forming machine 38 is extruded, compressed and remolded, thereby the internal air pocket void is removed, and the structurally homogenous battery terminal infeed material 40 is fed out. An accumulator 46 accumulates the extruded material 40. Then the material 40 is taken out from the accumulator 46, and sectioned to be sent to plural automatic infeed material feeders 42. Then the material 40 is sent to a computer control machining center 44 by a feeder 42. A terminal 22 is manufactured by using the mechanically homogenous material 40, so that the internal air pocket void is not included therein, and the burr web is not found because the terminal 22 is machined by a lathe. |
