Electric propulsion drive for floating air-bed mattress - has battery-operated electric motor rotating paddle wheels on opposite sides of mattress

The propulsion drive for an aided mattress comprises an electric motor (1) driven via a battery (2) and rotating a pair of paddle wheels on either side of the airbed mattress. The battery (2) can be recharged via a solar cell, or from the mains. A potentiometer (3) between the battery and the electric motor is used to vary the rotation rotor of the latter. Pref. the mattress is attached to thee drive unit via two rods or cables, the drive unit pref. provided with a pair of attached handles. ADVANTAGE - Allows propulsion of airbed mattress which may have been blown by the wind or carried away by currents.
