PURPOSE:To improve the stability of operation and life of roll and to simplify the maintenance and inspection of device by specifying the dimension and shape of web restraining ring roll to the dimension of flange and shape of rolled shapes. CONSTITUTION:The outside width W of the web restraining ring roll 12 is formed larger than the half width Fs of the flange of shapes of rolled stock and also the outside face of the web restraining ring roll 12 corresponding to the inside of the tip of the flange 6 of shapes of rolled stock is formed into inward narrowed-shape. And, the inside face 7a of an edging roll 7, outer peripheral corner part 10a of an eccentric sleeve 10 and inner peripheral corner part 10a of the web restraining ring roll 12 are constituted so as to be mutually brought into contact through a seal member 14. Then, a seal member 15 is sealed in the sliding part between a driving shaft 8 and the inner peripheral surface of end part of the eccentric sleeve 10. Therefore, it can be prevented for scale, cooling water and dust to enter between respective roll members under the severe conditions of hot rolling. |
