PURPOSE:To obtain satisfactory respective functions of rear carrier and rear spoiler by extending the rear carrier backward from the rear wall surface of the rear spoiler or vehicle body cover, making its installation height lower than the upper surface of the rear spoiler and the width narrower than that of the rear carrier. CONSTITUTION:In a scooter type motorcycle, the part enclosed by a side cover 19, a side molding 20 and a center molding 21 in the vehicle rear end is covered with the rear cover part 50 of a tail lamp unit 49, and a carrier 55 is disposed in the rear end part of a motorcycle 1, extending aslant backward from the rear cover part 50 forming the rear wall surface of a body cover 14. A rear spoiler 66 extending aslant upward is formed by a standing part 19 formed on the rear end upper part of the side cover 19 and the rear cover part 50. The carrier 55 is formed of a load receiving part 56 obtained by curving a round bar into a U-shape opened on the vehicle body front side, and a support part 57 extending aslant downward toward the front from about its rear end and having a U-shape opened on the vehicle body rear side, and the carrier is formed narrower than the rear spoiler 66. |
