摘要 The tubular body (1) is closed vacuum-tight and is pivotable at lowest possible friction about the axis (2) at right angles to the image or projection plane. For measuring the density of a liq. or gas, a balancing wt. (6) is slid along a threaded rod (5) until the length axis of the body (1) lies horizontally. The density value is calculated by measuring the distance between the counterweight (6) and the pivot axis (2). The counterweight can be rotated by a magnetic field if it contains a magnet or is of magnetisable material. The threaded rod can be rotated by an electromotor. The charge in electrical current, voltage or charge can be used to ascertain the density when the temp. and pressure are known. The positions of the counterweight and length axis can be determined electronically or opto-electronically. ADVANTAGE - Large measurement range at accuracy better than 2 x 10 to the power of minus 4 gram per cubic cm.
