DIMETHYL TEREPHTALATE RECOVERY METHOD

摘要

The process comprises injection into the residue of methyl alcohol esterification of terephthalic acid, mixed with dimethyl terephthalate from the bottom of the fractionation column. The material injected is a fraction of the non-volatile component of the raw ester. The resulting mixt. is heated and evaporated, and the vapour phase is sepd. in a supplementary boiler, for recirculation in the column.
