A graft-modified interpolymer of styrene, alpha -methyl styrene and acrylonitrile made by continuous polymerization having about the same heat distortion temperature as a graft-modified copolymer of alpha -methyl styrene and acrylonitrile without the presence of styrene, the AMS content of the interpolymer being less than that of the copolymer by at least about 8 weight percent.
