PURPOSE:To prevent dangers in a lighting fixture even if a short circuit occurs between feeders each having no insulating-coat by supplying low-voltage power to the feeders, and lowering the level of an output or stopping the output when the short circuit occurs between the feeders. CONSTITUTION:Two piping bodies 1 are arranged in approximately parallel with each other, and a cylindrical basic-stand portion 2 is fixed vertically between the heads of short-side portions 1a of these piping bodies. A power supply unit 3 is then received in the basic-stand portion 2, and a connecting plug 4 is connected to the power supply unit 3. An insulating fixing body 6 is arranged at also the head of each of the piping bodies, and a feeder 5, which is formed out of a conductive bare-wire, is connected to the power supply unit 3. And when a short circuit for example occurs between the two feeders 5, a Zener diode 39 is then turned on to turn on a thyristor 38 so as to stop the base current of a transistor 33, and consequently the transistor 33 is turned off to stop an output from the power supply unit 3 so as to prevent dangers in a lighting fixture resulting from the short circuit. This makes it hard to cause the dangers even if the short circuit occurs between the feeders each having no insulating-coat. |
