<p>PURPOSE:To execute a work to remove an embedded pipe with high efficiency by inserting a cutting tool in a part to be removed up to the vicinity of the deepmost part thereof, pulling back the tool as the part to be removed is segmented throughout the whole length thereof, and pulling off obtained beltlike bodies as they are bent. CONSTITUTION:A part 1a to be removed of a feed pipe 1 is dug out only in the one spot of a main branch pipe 2. The feed pipe 1a is cut in a dig out spot A by a known proper pipe outer surface cutter and the main branch pipe 2 is closed by a blocking means. After the part 1a to be removed is purged by means of gas, a tool 3 for weld is inserted, and the other end side of the part 1a to be removed is fused throughout a whole periphery by rotating the tool 3. The tool 3 is pulled back without rotation, and the part 1a to be removed is segmented in a plurality of spots in a peripheral direction throughout a whole length. After the tool 3 is pulled off from the part 1a to be removed, beltlike bodies 11 produced by segmentation of the part 1a to be removed are dug out one by one or a plurality of the beltlike bodies are dug out at a time and pulled off to the spot A side by means of a winder as they are bent. Thereafter, a pull-off hole is filled with a filler, and the dig-out spot A is refilled for restoration to complete a work.</p> |
