PURPOSE:To automatically feed water required by a flowerpot to a flower or garden tree by forming the base, etc., of a container from a permeable membrane, taking external water into a cylinder by an osmotic pressure difference and carrying the water through a capillary to the flowerpot. CONSTITUTION:The base or side of a hermetically sealed cylindrical container 1 is formed from a permeable membrane 2 to create a concentration difference between the inside and the outside of the cylinder and produce an osmotic pressure. External water is taken into the cylinder and carried from a small outlet 4 provided in one place of the cylinder through a capillary 5 to a flowerpot 6.
