Oxidative activation of carbon-hydrogen bonds in which the carbon atom is in the sp<3>-type hybridisation state in a hydrocarbon, by the action of H2O2 on the hydrocarbon in the mixture resulting, in the microemulsion state, from mixing two water-in-hydrocarbon microemulsions, one containing hydrogen peroxide, the other a salt or a colloidal oxygenated derivative of a metal of multiple oxidation state and capable of producing hydrated oxides.
