In order to optimize the functional properties such as degree of elasticity, resistance to wear and mechanical load-bearing capacity, the roller body (1), which consists of open-cell foam, is closed on its surface by a skin (2) of resilient material which forms an outer surface of the roller and anchors itself by engagement in the foam pores (7).</p> |
