PURPOSE:To obtain a bar code display member capable of resisting repeated laundering, finish ironing and friction by sticking an image transfer medium consisting of a transparent heat-resistant film as a base with an inverted image of bar code formed to a member such as cloth or unwoven cloth on which bar code should be displayed. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer sheet 1 consisting of a base film 2, a thermally meltable peel-off layer 3, a thermally adhesive colored layer 4 and a heat- resistant, lubricative processed layer 5 is placed over a image transfer medium composed of a transparent, heat-resistant film 7 as a base and a background layer for image reception provided on the film 7. Then these two are thermally pressed using a heat medium such as a thermal head and a thermally adhesive colored layer is partially transferred to the surface of the image transfer medium to form an inverted image of bar code. In addition, the image transfer medium on which the inverted image is formed is placed over a member 10 such as cloth or unwoven cloth on which bar code should be displayed through a thermally adhesive film 9. After that, these two are thermally pressed and stuck together to obtain a bar code display member. |
