<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a satisfactory noise reducing effect by preventing the erroneous data of various lines from being circulated by generating a reset signal for each field so that a sampling operation can be started from an initial state. CONSTITUTION:In the case of sub sampling by a sub sampling circuit 13, a vertical synchronizing signal is extracted from an input video signal and corresponding to the vertical synchronizing signal, the reset signal is generated for each field so that the sampling operation can be started from the initial state. Therefore, by this sampling operation, the data at the same position in the odd-number and even-number fields are respectively sampled. Thus, even when the data including the data before one field is interpolated while mixing those data, the erroneous data of the various lines are prevented from being circulated and the satisfactory noise reducing effect can be obtained.</p> |
