PURPOSE:To manufacture a superconductive film of good superconductivity by forming a specified first layer on the surface of a base with its surface composed of silver, heating and melting a second layer, heat treating the second layer in the atmosphere containing specified oxygen and forming a superconductive film on the surface of the base. CONSTITUTION:A first layer 5 composed of a mixture of Ln2BaCuOx and LnBa2 Cu3Ox and with the mixing ratio of Ln2BaCuOx in the range of 5 to 80% mol ratio is formed on the surface of a base 4 with its furnace composed of silver. A second layer 6 having a component composition reacting with Ln2BaCuOx constituting a part of the first layer 5 and forming LnBa2Cu3Ox is formed on the surface of the first layer 5. The second layer 6 is heated and melted in the atmosphere containing 0.01 - 20 % oxygen. When the second layer 6 is melted, its molten liquid is permeated into the first layer 5 and reacted with Ln2BaCuOx constituting a part of the first layer 5 to form a superconductive film 7 composed of LnBa2Cu3Ox on the surface of the base 4. The formed superconductive film 7 composed of LnBa2Cu2Ox is heat treated in the atmo sphere containing oxygen to manufacture a superconductive article of superior superconductivity. |
