Cover for the folding back of a convertible seat which comprises a sitting portion (11) that can be swung forwards and a back (12) that can pivot from an approximately vertical position to a horizontal position, characterised in that the lower part of the supporting cushion of the back carries a bolster (15), attached to the base of the cushion, consisting of stuffing (16) covered by a jacket (17) attached transversely to the cover of the back and in that control means (20) govern the swinging forward of the sitting portion and the movement of the bolster (15) in the course of the change of position of the back.
