PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which is excellent in detergency for oil contaminants and make it possible only by slightly wiping to clean up a stainless surface beautifully without blurring by mixing a specific surfactant and a specific solvent hardly soluble in water and adjusting the pH of the composition to 9 or above. CONSTITUTION:The title composition is obtained by mixing 0.1-8wt.% surfactant selected from the group consisting of long-chain olefine sulfonates and polyoxyethylene long-chain alkyl ether sulfate salts and 1-20wt.% hardly water- soluble solvent of the given formula (wherein (m) is an average mol adduct number of ethylene oxide of 0.5-1.5; and (n) is the average number of propylene oxide by added molecules of 1-3, which is one having the number of added molecules of 1-5, is present in an amount of 80wt.% or more) and adjusting the pH of the composition to 9 or above. The composition is excellent in detergency for oil contaminants and also can clean up a stainless surface beautifully only by slightly wiping without blurring. |
