PURPOSE:To improve compatibility, mechanical strengths, moldability, etc., by compounding a mixture of an arom. PS with a polyamide (elastomer) with a specific compd. CONSTITUTION:90-10 pts.wt. arom. PS is mixed with 10-90 pts.wt. polyamide or polyamide elastomer to give 100 pts.wt. mixture, which is mixed with 0.5-30 pts.wt. compatibilizer comprising at least one compd. having a group selected from the group consisting of carboxyl, acid anhydride, ester, amino, acid amide, imide, hydroxyl, and epoxy groups to give a resin compsn. According to needs, the compsn. is further compounded with 1-60wt.% at least one filler selected from the group consisting of an inorg. and an org. filler, a fiber, and a whisker and 0.5-30wt.% rubberlike elastomer having a Tg of 0 deg.C or lower. |
