Station with a central platform for lines built on a viaduct, comprising at least two elements (1) of the same type as that of the standard section of the viaduct and capable, if appropriate, of being built with the same moulds for producing prefabricated elements in concrete. These two elements are separated by upper (10) and lower (11) joining pieces placed at the level of the upper and lower slabs of the elements (1), it being possible for the joining elements to be beams connected together in order to form a frame. At least one transverse prestressing cable (13, 15) traverses each joining piece and the adjacent slabs in order to form a rigid overall assembly. The central platform may be supported partially by the upper joining piece. <IMAGE>
