PURPOSE:To facilitate the replacement of charge carriers and to feed them intermittently at a charge formation part, by using dielectric sheets as the charge carriers in a transfer type electrostatic recorder and by carrying them at the charge formation part and a development and transfer part by different carriage system. CONSTITUTION:While a sheet from a dielectric sheet cassette 121 is carried intermittently by a pulse motor 18, an electrostatic latent image is formed by a multistylus head 4. The sheet is further carried by a motor 3 and after the development of a developing device 5, a recorded image is transferred to recording paper 7. In the formation of the latent image, intermittent carriage is performed and in development and transfer, continuous carriage is carried out; and the sheet, when used as many times as prescribed, are contained in a storage cassette 122. |
