PURPOSE:To eliminate preliminary operation and misentry by using program instructions. CONSTITUTION:The restaurant order entry system has a program instruction 8 which generates characters for identifying individual slips and passes them to an output device 4, an output device 9 which outputs the identification characters, a reader 5 which reads the identification characters printed on the slips, a program instruction 10 which blinks a panel lamp according to information which is stored as information sent from the reader 5, a panel lamp device 6 which blinks the lamp with blinking information passed from a processor, and a program instruction 11 which passes account information to an accounting machine 7 by using the information sent from the reader 5 and stored information. Namely, a person in charge of accounting reads the recognition characters of a bill passed from a customer by the reader (for account ing) in an accounting place, an account information generation instruction 11 program converts the information received from the reader 5 into a slip number controlled in an information storage memory, processes the information into information for accounting, and passes the information to the adjustment instruction 13 program of the accounting machine 7. Consequently, no input error is generated and the response of the operation is improved. |
