PURPOSE:To obtain a time diversity effect in addition to a time compression multiple effect by transmitting and receiving the same signal subject to time division and time compression through the use of a designated time slot of, e.g. two frames. CONSTITUTION:A telephone network 10 is connected to a radio system via a gate exchange 20. A radio base station 30 is provided with an interface with the gate exchange 20, a circuit applying signal speed conversion, a circuit a circuit applying assignment or selection of a time slot of a frame structure and a control section, etc., and a ratio transmission/reception circuit setting or releasing a radio channel and receiving/transmitting a radio signal from/to a mobile radio equipment 100. Communication signals (22-1)-(22-n) sent from the gate exchange 20 are inputted to the signal processing section 31 of the radio base station 30. The signal processing section 31 is provided with an amplifier to compensate the transmission loss and the mixing and the separation of the input and the output are implemented by 2/4-wire conversion. |
