发明名称 METHOD FOR PREVENTING STRESS CORROSION CRACK IN AUSTENITIC STAINLESS STEEL PIPE
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent the development of stress corrosion cracking caused by chlorine ion by executing shotting work with steel balls to outer surface of austenitic stainless steel pipe to reduce residual tensile stress. CONSTITUTION:In order to prevent the development of stress corrosion cracking under chlorine ion-containing atmosphere caused by the residual tensile stress on the steel pipe surface generated by straightening bending in longitudinal direction at the time of executing solid solution heat treatment to the austenitic stainless steel pipe, by colliding the steel balls over the whole surface of steel pipe at <=3kg/cm<2> pressure, the shotting work is executed to develop the residual compressive stress on the steel pipe surface. By cancelling the residual tensile stress with this compressive stress and drastically reducing the residual tensile stress on the steel pipe surface, the development of stress corrosion cracking caused by chlorine ion, is prevented.</p>
