摘要 PURPOSE:To permit the simultaneous operation of a cooling tower and the manufacture of low-temperature refrigerant, which is effected by a refrigerating machine, by a method wherein the first circuit of refrigerant between the condenser of the refrigerating machine and the cooling tower is connected to the second circuit of refrigerant between an evaporator and a cooling load and the flow amount of refrigerant between two circuits is controlled while the amount and the temperature of refrigerant, which flows through the condenser, are controlled so as to be constant. CONSTITUTION:When the atmospheric temperature of an atmospheric temperature sensor 30 becomes lower than a set temperature in an intermediate period mode, operation is switched into cold water manufacturing operation, effected by a cooling tower 1, and the rotation of a fan 53 is controlled by a water temperature sensor 32 and a control circuit 35 so that the outlet water temperature of the cooling tower 1 becomes 10 deg.C, for example. In this case, the operating condition of a refrigerating machine 2 is not fluctuated. When the outlet water temperature of the cooling tower 1 is reduced to 10 deg.C, two-way valve 11, 13 are opened and a cooling water circuit A is communicated with a cold water circuit B. Cooling water, which has absorbed heat in a condenser 51, is distributed into a bypass pipeline 59 and a pipeline 54, then, the cooling water in the pipeline 54 is mixed with the cold water in the bypass pipeline 56 and enters into the cooling tower 1 to dissipate the heat thereof while the water, which has dissipated the heat thereof, passes through the bypass pipeline 58 and is mixed with the cold water, which has absorbed heat by a cooling load 3 at the suction side of a pump 5, and is sent into the evaporator 52 of the refrigerating machine 2.
