<p>PURPOSE:To readily obtain the subject compound as a synthetic intermediate of dye for hair or a synthetic intermediate of drug or agricultural chemical without introducing of protecting group, etc., in high yield by using 4- fluoroanilines as starting raw material and directly nitrating the raw material. CONSTITUTION:Anilines expressed by formula I (X is halogen) are used as starting raw material and reacted with 1-10 equivalent nitrating agent such as concentrated nitric acid, mixed acid or fuming nitric acid in a solvent such as concentrated sulfuric acid or acetic anhydride at -30 deg.C to 80 deg.C, preferably 0 deg.C to room temperature to obtain a compound expressed by formula II. After the reaction, reacted solution is poured into ice-water and separated crystal is isolated by filtration or subjected to extraction using an organic solvent such as ether or chloroform to afford the aimed compound.</p> |
