PURPOSE:To save the manhours for manufacturing cantilever beams for bridges by forming a cantilever beam for T-like shape bridge piers for construction of a bridge lower section and a cantilever beam for steel bridge bracket parts for construction of an upper bridge section, in U-like cross-sectional shapes. CONSTITUTION:A steel strip is pressed by a U-press machine so as to form web parts and a T-like flange 7a which are integrally incorporated with each other. In this way, both cantilever beam 4 for T-like bridge piers for construction of a lower bridge section and cantilever beam for bracket parts in a steel bridge 4 for construction of an upper bridge section are formed having U-like cross-sectional shapes. Further, an upper flange 7 is welded to the U-like cantilever beam 4 which therefore has a large toughness against burden acting thereupon. Thereby it is possible to enhance the profitability. |
