PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the respective automatic developing machines to be exclusively used and to reduce the cost of the device in the case of simultaneous processing of a waterless planographic printing plate and a PS plate by adopting developing solns. different from each other for the developing solns. to be used in the 1st developing zone and 2nd developing zone of two continuous developing zones. CONSTITUTION:The two developing zones 1, 2 are provided. The developing soln. for the waterless planographic printing plate is used for the one developing zone 1, etc., and the developing soln. for the PS plate is used for the remaining one developing zone. The waterless planographic printing plate and the PS plate are processed in both of the two developing zones 1, 2 and are subjected to the development processing by changing the developing time with the waterless planographic printing plate and the PS plate. Namely, the plates are processed by two kinds of the developing solns. changed in the compsn. The development processing is executed by the different processing time by changing the transporting speed according to the kinds of the photosensitive planographic printing plates. The development processing of the waterless planographic printing plate and the PS plate with one unit of the automatic developing machine is, therefore, possible. The cost of the device is reduced in this way. |
