PURPOSE:To reduce unnecessary opening/closing operation by inhibiting outputting a signal of door opening by deciding a person not advancing toward an automatic door, in the case of first advancing in both end detection areas, and opening the door only when the person first advances into a central detection area. CONSTITUTION:In a detector 30A, an output mean value of each light receiving element of detection areas A1, A2, provided in the front of an automatic door 20, is A/D converted and compared with each decision value in a main control part CPU to feed a human body detection signal X to a door open/close control unit under a certain condition. In the case of a person first advancing into the left end detection area A1 or the right end detection area A3, the CPU inhibits outputting a signal SA of door opening by diciding this person not advancing toward the automatic door 20. In the case of the person first advancing into the central detection area A2, the CPU generates the signal SA of door opening to open the automatic door 20, and it is closed after a predetermined time with the person passing through this door. In this way, a loss of air conditioning can be reduced while enabling unnecessary opening/closing operation of the door to reduce. |
