<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the damage of a mechanism part and the loss of data due to reset by providing a device connected to an input/output bus with a reset circuit, an interruption generating circuit, and a reset stop circuit and providing a CPU in the device with a reset signal stop function and a reset processing function and resetting the device by the command of the CPU in the device. CONSTITUTION:The device connected to the input/output bus is provided with a reset circuit 39, an interrupt generating circuit 40, and a reset stop circuit 41, and a CPU 31 of this device is provided with the reset signal stop function and the reset processing function. When the CPU 3 of the device as the reset object is normally operated and a reset signal is detected in this state, the reset signal stop function and the reset processing function of the CPU 31 are operated by the interrupt signal from the interrupt generating circuit 40 to protect data being in course of processing, and each part is reset thereafter. If the CPU 3 is not normally operated, each part is forcibly reset. Thus, the damage of the mechanism part and the loss of data due to forcible reset are considerably reduced.</p> |
