PURPOSE:To eliminate a change in the mechanical characteristics of the optical disk under a high temp. and to prevent the failure in recording and reproducing by the peeling of ceramics by sticking two sheets of substrates by using an epoxy adhesive and forming a UV curing resin part in the outer peripheral part of the optical disk. CONSTITUTION:Grooves or pits for tracking are formed on one surface of the substrates 1, 7 consisting of polycarbonate and thereafter, 1st ceramics layers 2, 8, recording layers 3, 9, 2nd ceramics layers 4, 10 and reflecting layers 5, 11 are successively formed in this order on the side of these resin substrates 1, 7 where the grooves or pits are formed. Such substrates are stuck to each other by using an epoxy resin. A groove is thereafter formed in the outer peripheral part of the substrates 1, 7 and the UV curing resin 16 is packed therein so as to fill the groove. The outer peripheral part is worked by machining after curing. The change in the mechanical characteristics of the optical disk under a high temp. and the failure in recording and reproducing by the peeling of the ceramics are prevented in this way. |
