<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a tape path of high reliability by providing a magnetic head, which is provided on the opposite side of a machine reel with the tape movement locus of a tape thread mechanism between them, and a rotation guide mechanism which presses the recording face of the tape after threading to the magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:A tape thread mechanism 27 which guides a leader block 23 of a cartridge 21 to the machine reel to engage it with a leader block engaging groove, a magnetic head 36 which is provided in the vicinity of a machine reel 25 through a belt 28, and a rotation guide mechanism 40 are provided. The inserted cartridge 21 is held by a cartridge holding part 22, and the tape thread mechanism 27 is operated to guide the leader block 23, which is attached to the leading end of the tape of the cartridge, to the machine reel 25, and the leader block is set. Next, the rotation guide mechanism 40 is operated to press the recording face of the tape after threading to the magnetic head 36. Thus, a small-sized tape path of high reliability is obtained.</p> |
