PURPOSE:To reduce the processing data volume and to quickly display the trend without losing the continuity of the data by outputting the data in the case the sum of the change rate of data exceeds a prescribed reference value. CONSTITUTION:A difference detecting means 2 finds the adjacent difference of time series data, and a change rate detecting means 3 finds the changing rate of the difference, and a total sum detecting means 4 integrates this change rate to obtain the sum of the changing rate. The upper limit value of the sum of the changing rate is preliminarily stored in a reference value holding means 5, and a comparing means 6 detects whether the sum of the changing rate exceeds the upper limit value or not, and a data compressing means 7b outputs the data in the case the sum of the change rate exceeds the upper limit value. Thus, the processing data volume is reduced and the trend is quickly displayed without losing the continuity of data. |
