The invention refers to a procedure for preparation of manganese-zinc spinel ferrites with titanium dioxide additive, used as cores in power transformers, with applications in industrial electronics and in the electronic industry of consumer goods. The procedure consists of the homogenisation of a mixture of raw materials: iron oxide, titanium, manganese, and zinc during 16...20 h, in proportions of 53...56% mole Fe2O3, 1...3 % mole TiO2, 28...35 % mole MnO and 12...18 % ZnO; pre-sintering of the material at temperatures between 900 and 1100 degrees C; grinding during 16...20 h in order to obtain a specific surface area of 2.5...3 m<2>/g; sintering at 1300/1350 degrees C in air atmosphere and slow cooling in atmosphere with decreasing content of oxygen.
