TRANSFER APPARATUS FOR USE WITH A MOBILE CONVEYOR

A transfer apparatus for moving and transferring mined material from an underground mobile mining conveyor. The transfer apparatus has a rigid undercarriage which passes underneath and supports an upwardly extending end of the conveyor. The transfer apparatus is connected to a conveyor segment that is in contact with the ground. The transfer apparatus includes drive means connected to the undercarriage. Support means are provided to lift the transfer apparatus and conveyor from a moving position up to a working position.
