PURPOSE:To read and write parameters fast by using random access memories as registers in a sound source and writing data in optional channels, reading and using the random access memories in parallel alternately. CONSTITUTION:Parameters featuring a musical sound to be generated can be stored in optional addresses of the random access storage means 16 and 17. Write and read means 11 - 15 write the parameters in the random access storage means 16 and 17 and read the parameters out of the random access storage means 16 and 17 in order. Thus, the parameter storage means are composed of the random access storage means 16 and 17, so data can be write in optional channels irrelevantly to channel counters and the random access storage means 16 and 17 are read out and used in parallel alternately. Consequently, the parameters can be written and read out fast. |
