PURPOSE:To recognize a code system for a terminal equipment or the like and to attain code conversion even without use of a reference table by allowing each equipment to add identification information to identify a character code system of a character code to a character code string and sending the string. CONSTITUTION:Character code system identification information 10 is added to a character code string 12 in a transmission text 1 from equipments 3-6 and the result is sent from the equipments 3-6 to a central processing unit 2, which recognizes a character code system by the identification information 10. Thus, the central processing unit 2 recognizes the transmission code without a reference table, the reference table storing the character code system for each of the equipments 3-6 is not required and a table generating job in the system connecting to lots of equipments is omitted. |
