PURPOSE:To enable real-time performance and to play with previously stored chord information as an accompaniment by clocking the time from when an optional pad is turned on to when the pad is turned on for a 2nd time, and generating chord information which is made to correspond to the pad when the clocked time is shorter than a specific time. CONSTITUTION:This instrument is provided with a measuring means 6 which measures operation time intervals of the pad P according to the detection output of a pad operation detecting means 11 and a chord information generating means 23 which generates specific chord information corresponding to the pad whose operation is detected by a pad operation detecting means 11 and accompaniment performance is carried out according to the chord information. A chord that a player specified in advance can, therefore, be generated. Consequently, the real-time performance becomes possible and the previously stored chord information can be played as the accompaniment. |
