PURPOSE:To preclude chattering due to a rebound even when a key is pressed slowly by providing an inhibiting means which inhibits a key state signal from varying for a constant time after a 2nd or specific succeeding key switch element operates according to the output of a timer means. CONSTITUTION:When a key is pressed, key switch elements 1-1 - 1-n operate in order. A key state detecting means 2 detects the operation states of those key switch elements 1-1 - 1-n and outputs a key state signal such as a key depression signal and a key release signal according to the detection results. Further, the timer means 3 clocks the elapsed time from the specific key switch element among the 2nd and succeeding key switch elements 1-2 - 1-n. The inhibiting means 4 inhibits the key state signal from varying until the elapsed time exceeds the constant time. Consequently, even when the key is pressed slowly, the chattering due to the rebound, etc., is precluded. |
